Default tranny fluid

what the H * *K does one have to do to get the tranny fluid checked ??? My "old" dealership closed(they used to check it for me when my girl was in for "other" things and I've had to try and find a "new" one well when my girl came out in April she needed new shoes so finaly found some and a dealer to do it the sons of B's wouldn"t check the tranny fluid after I spent $800.00 on tires there . . . it's a "lenghty process and we need @ least one hour" um REALY ?????? and so now I thoiught ummmm I have service Contract and it's been awhile since the tires so umm my charger is shifting "funny" can you check it for me WELL 1 hr and $70.00 later (after a "test drive" ) your'e good to go !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF shouldn't you of checked the tranny fluid ??? Service Contract says YES but STILL don't have my tranny fluid checked !!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Please chime in AND help

wow talk about bad service - any dodge dealership should be able to check the trans fluid, you know with there special tool (called a dipstick) - post this up in the Nemer service section of the forum and see what cars01010 says about this - he is a great member and the service/part manager at the dealership

Thanks ....I guess I'm just so use to being "pampered" at my old dealership. When I had the car in for "other service" they ALWAYS checked my fluid FOR FREE !!! These guys will check it but are saying that it takes "more than an hr to do " and WILL CHARGE ME . GRRRRRRRRR
